The Beginning
Gen 1:1In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
2Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was
hovering over the waters.
3And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light.
4God saw that the light was good, and He separated the light from the darkness.
5God called the light "day," and the darkness He called "night." And there was evening,
and there was morning-the first day.

Word Became Flesh
Jn 1:1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God.
2He was with God in the beginning.
3Through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made.
4In Him was life, and that life was the light of men.
5The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it.

The Son Superior to Angels
Heb 1:1In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the
prophets at many times and in various ways,
2but in these last days He has spoken to us by His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things,
and through whom He made the universe. 3The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation
of His being, sustaining all things by His powerful word. After He had provided purification for sins,
He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.

The Supremacy of Christ
Col 1:15He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn
over all creation. 16For by Him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible,
whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by Him and for Him.
17He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.
18And He is the head of the body, the church; He is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead,
so that in everything He might have the supremacy.
